This beer is a winter seasonal offering only available January through march. It has a thick, rich, robust head that clings nicely to the glass.

There is a caramel overtone to the beer mostly due to the carameled malt used in the brewing process. There is also an ever so slight hint of both chocolate and citrus.

This beer matches superbly as an accompaniment to the meal with roast pork. But it also comports itself well as an after dinner, social beer.

Dark, Caramel, Citrus, Rich, Thick

It’s a darn shame that this beer is only available for about 2 months.

The Leinenkugel 1888 bock is a great seasonal beer. Despite the fact that it sits on the fence between Winter and Spring, it’s delightful thick bock taste is great for the cold nights, yet has a hint of citrus that makes it feel right for the warmer days.

Has a really dark color and a thick head when poured. The drink starts off pleasant, rich in taste. Ends with a slight bitterness and the caramel and chocolate tastes as mentioned above.

Definitely recommend you try this beer before it’s gone for the season!

Pours dark brown with a medium head. Nothing to distinguish itself - nice malty taste, clean finish.

A bit of caramel flavor, but I didn’t get the rich flavor that some others here experienced. I really wanted to like this beer, but it just didn’t do much for me.
