I’ve heard this referred to as a beer for non-beer drinkers, and a friend of mine swears by this beer. She has it everytime she’s at the brewery, and it may be great off the tap, but I’ve only had it in bottles and its the only bottled beer that I’ve seen sit in a house of beer fanatics for months. One of these days I might try it off the tap, but it’ll be a long time before I have another bottle.

Well, it tastes like apricots… not beer. If you really concentrate, you can picture it as maybe a Hefeweizen… with a bunch of apricot syrup in it. It’s neat and all but it’s not beer.

This beer is swell. One of the other reviewers said it’s sort of like a Hefeweizen with a lot of apricot. Which is a good description of it, really.
Here’s the problem, though: I can’t drink more than one of these at a time. They are super, super sweet. Like, super sweet, too sweet to have more than one or two of at a time.
I’m super glad that I drank this beer, but I completely regret buying a six-pack of it. Which is why I gave this beer a sort-of low rating.

This is my favorite beer of all time. If you don’t like lighter beers, then it’s obviously not for you. Don’t expect the meaty taste of a normal beer, expect something lighter - like a cider - but without the piss taste of cider. This beer is best ice cold, served in a glass, and with a slice of lemon to garnish. This is also an unfiltered beer, so it doesn’t have the clarity of other beers.

Because this beer tastes so different, I like to give it to non-beer-drinkers for a try. Tastes way better on the tap, and reminds me a little of Pyramid’s Hefeweizen.
