This Winter Warmer has a full body and is smooth and crisp. Has a bitter-sweet start and a slight chocolate finish with hints of lightly roasted coffee.

I could drink this one all winter long. It definitely puts you in a festive mood!

Jubelale changes from year to year but never disappoints! This years offering is no exception. Another excellent brew from Deschutes Brewery.

Pours mahogany with a great looking tan head. Aroma is caramel, malt, hint of toastiness, plum and mild spiciness. Flavor is sweet, decent amount of fruits and malt, giving way to more hints of bitter and spice. It’s pretty well balanced for a winter ale. It’s not crazy, radical or shocking. It’s just a great winter ale. I’d definitely purchase this again.

A nice winter seasonal, Jubelale pours to a nice deep amber/red with a great tan head. It’s sweet, malty, toasty and slightly fruity to start with a bit of a bitter back. It’s a bit strong, medium-bodied but fairly drinkable.

A end up buying at least a few six packs every time this ale comes out, and it’s always one of my favorite winter ales. It isn’t too chocolaty, and at the same time is both smooth and sweet without being too heavy.

Be sure and grab some in the late fall and winter if you can find it.

This is the beer that I wait for year after year. Although the 2007 batch was a bit hoppy, this year was a return to perfection. A smooth wintry ale that is all things Oregon.

Always one of the top winter seasonals in Fall. Copper/Amber in color, strong maltiness with enough hop to balance out to a smooth beer. Not as hoppy as I like personally in the past few years but definitely a worth purchase when the cold kicks in.

Good, but not incredibly complex and it seems to have a tinge of what I think is an IPA flavor. Some may like it, but I prefer by winter brews to be a bit thicker, more complex and meatier.

Delicious brew. Hoppier than a porter, but still lots of rich roasted malt flavor. Crisp and clean.
