    A favorite Spring seasonal.

Appearance: Reddish amber with good head.

Aroma: Nice earthy hop aroma backed by a caramel sweetness.

Flavor: The malt stands out here with a good balance of citrusy hops.

    Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation.

Overall: A great red beer to drink while watching the tulips pop up.

    Comment:

Pours a dark, translucent amber with a nice, thick tan head. Looks really good. Has a nice, crisp malty flavor. Feels a bit more watery than I expected, almost light in feel. There are hints of earthy spices that balance out the malty sweetness. Has a nice bitter (but not too bitter) aftertaste. Decent stuff.

    Characteristics: crisp drinkable earthy malty

    Comment:

Pours nice and red but there is too much earty spices going on and the aftertaste lingers on way too long. I can’t get with the beer and won’t be looking for it later.
