A Michigan favorite, very refreshing and easy drinking. A fantastic session beer for sure, especially after a day outside in the summer.
Refreshing quality, light yet rewarding. Offers a bouquet of citrus and wheat. Pours a brilliant amber with medium head and active carbonation.

Summers in Michigan must include mosquito spray, a camping trip to a lake of your choice, A Tiger’s game at Comerica Park and Bell’s Oberon.
A light, citrusy ale that is like a Belgium wheat, but without the filling.

I’m always torn about Oberon. I think in terms of wheat beers, there are others that I like a lot better. I like a fresh, citrusy taste, but sometimes I taste something funky about the fruitiness in Oberon. An icky undertone, if you will. Overall, Oberon is hit or miss for me.

Used to love it, but OD’d. It’s a lot like Upland wheat, but a little thicker and tangier. It’s crisp, with hints of citrus and orange. Drink it very cold, or risk a funky, sour aftertaste.

The aroma is everything you could come to expect in an ale. The taste is both spicy and bitter, as well as a bit sweet. A fuller texture guarantees a smooth finish.
Oberon has a taste that isn’t soon forgotten and a finish that just begs for more. You’d be hard-pressed to find a more enjoyable American ale.

Pours cloudy yellow with minimal head - light carbonation. Lightly sweet malty aroma and taste. Very crisp, finishes clean - a good, not exceptional beer.

Oberon is one of my favorite Michigan summer beers. It has a great aroma with a medium head. Can be a little bit off if its not fresh. Light citrus flavor.
