I enjoyed this beer very much. Very dark.
(I’m no expert, so pardon the sparsity of details. Do try it, though… great flavor.)

I bought this “Belgian-style stout” thinking I’d try something different and while it was different I think that it winds up with some of the worst of both worlds even though it’s still quite tasty.
The rich and creamy flavor of the stout never quite presents itself, but instead the tangy, fruit flavors of a dark Belgian ale stop it from quite manifesting. I think I’d be happier if I stuck to a good stout one night and a good dark Belgian ale the next.
- Characteristics: dark fruity tangy
