A great pale ale with a pleasing amount of hoppiness. Slightly tart, dry like a french wine, and thicker than you’d expect.
In my mind, the entire pale ale style is more of a workhorse — it’ll get the job done, but it’s rarely capable of greatness. I’d stop short of saying this one is the exception, but it’s certainly a surprisingly good beer for a pale ale.

This was a reliable choice when I lived in Denver. I’m not sure if it was because of the flavor (tasty, easy) or the cool label artwork.

Great flavor, and for being a bit dry it goes down smooth.
I’ve been drinking this beer a lot lately, and I would say it’s my new favorite beer.

I cocncur with my 97 Bottles Colleagues on this one. I’m not a huge Pale Ale fan, but this is a pretty good beer.
Deep golden amber color, minimal head. There is a sweet aroma with a hint of hops. The taste is well-balanced between malt and hops, with a crisp, surprisingly smooth finish.
- Characteristics: crisp golden hoppy
