Comment:
Three Floyds makes great beer, but Alpha King is not on my list. The hops, while at”only” 66IBU seemed ill-fitting with the grain bill. Perhaps with a higher ABV it would have been better suited? Overall an uninviting beer for me.

A really nice pale ale. Doesn’t stand up to my love for IPAs, but still, an excellent drink.

Comment:
pours light gold with a decent head that fades. decent lacing as the beer goes down.

citrus with decent hop profile. malts in the background. I would have liked to see the malts more up front. Still, it’s pretty well balanced.

This would make for a good session beer. The mouthfeel is thin enough for a baseball game.
