From New Belgium Brewing: MIGHTY ARROW Pale Ale provides lots of pleasurable sniffs from Cascade and Golding hops with a fetching honey malt base. This is our brewed tribute to Arrow, Kim’s Aussie/Border Collie mix who ran (literally) New Belgium for 12 years. When she wasn’t patrolling the brewery grounds, she was famous for her office visits: She never met a tummy rub she didn’t like. Atta girl Arrow.

Gorgeous aroma - lots of cascade and some pale maltiness too. Appearance-wise it’s very attractive. Light copper with a bountiful white head. I enjoy the taste quite a bit - more spiciness than i anticipated (not a bad thing at all). Body is lighter than expected too - making for a pretty easy drinking pale. Very pleasant all around and I’m really really excited that NB is making this! (fwiw, I’ve met arrow a few years ago, such a sweet dog).

Nice surprise. Had on tap at New Belgium. Not a blow-you-away or unique pale ale, but a solid pale ale nonetheless. Lots of American hop flavors with all of the flavors that go along with that: citrus, pine, etc. I would have maybe liked some more experimenting from NB with Beligian/European hops: Saaz or Sterling. Still, good pale ale!

Pours a light coppery orange with nice fluffy head. It’s nice; crisp, a tad sweet, a bit spicy and a touch bitter. Good balance.

This reminds me of Deuchars IPA from Caledonian. Not a lot of bitterness, but amazing hop aroma - like the glass is filled with hops. Still nicely balanced, though.

Delicious sweet, floral hop taste up front. Little-to-no bitterness in after-taste. Another excellent seasonal from New Belgium. So good.

Very nice brass/copper color with a tall white head. I get a lot of citrus and a little spice on the nose.
Very nice, interesting flavors going on. Bright, light, with some hints of orange juice on the front, a little honey mid-way, and hops on the finish.
A great, interesting, balanced, pale ale.

A prominent hop aroma at first. First taste reveals a hoppy depth but it’s not really all that bitter. It has a complex honey sweetness throughout with just a hint of citrus and a nice solid finish without much aftertaste. Mighty Arrow is a very refreshing brew that would be perfect on hot summer days but it has some complexity to keep you interested the rest of the time.

Decent Pale without incredibly strong hoppiness (some believe the sign of a weak brewmaster).
Round mouthfeel, with light anise, citrus and rich hops. Next to know finish or aftertaste. Good warm weather brew, perfect with mustard a pretzel!
- Characteristics: anise citrus hops

I tried this beer at Aubrey’s - Farragut and was blown away by its unique taste. It’s start off with a fruity/floral taste and finishes with just a hint of bitterness.

Pretty neutral like most New Belgium beers, but still a good taste and an enjoyable seasonal effort from NB.
