Coppery brown with rich, malty character - this perfectly brewed amber ale gets its good looks from the dark -roasted, crystal malt that we import from England. To give it some Western flair, it is moderately hopped with hops straight from the Yakima Valley in Washington.

Not much of a distinct flavor, but refreshing enough as a summer beer.

I really enjoy the sweetness on this beer. I have been impressed with just about all the beers that come out of this new “kirkland signature” brand. The sampler mixed case is my go to beer case now. Scott

Copper color. Nice caramel nose. Sweet caramel flavor. Good hop balance and clean finish. Nothing that stands out here but a nice clean amber.

    Comment:

It has a rich, dark copper color and a slightly smokey-sweet aroma. It’s foundation is a caramel malt flavor with a very slight, bitter kick. There is some depth in flavor but not as much as much as I’d like to see. There is a mild sourness in the background that is reminisent of an English Brown Ale. I dig it but I wish it had just a bit more depth in flavor.
