A HUGE Imperial Stout that weighs in at an impressive 12% ABV! As if that’s not enough, we added pounds of coffee for a little extra kick. Our special-edition Brewer’s Reserve Speedway Stout, which is aged in Bourbon barrels, has been rated the #1 BEST BEER IN THE WORLD at ratebeer.com. It was also featured on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” in a segment on the best dark beers in America.
Jet Black, with an off-white head. Starts with a strong coffee and dark chocolate sensation, then fades to a multitude of toasty, roasty and caramel malt flavors. Clean and crisp, full- bodied. Warmth from the high alcohol content lightens up the feel. You won’t fool your taste buds - this beer is HUGE!

This is a massive beer! Generally served in smaller portions because the 12 plus alcohol % will knock you down. The great thing about this beer isn’t the high % though. This beer is so damn flavorful! Very roasty and loaded with chocolate and carmel highlights. At my bar, we have gone through 4 kegs already and can’t seem to keep it in stock.

pours dark black with a slight brown head. Bug carbonation.
chocolate and caramel dominate the aroma.
taste is bitter and almost sour. caramel and chocolate come through rather quickly and bitter malts finish.
mouthfeel is kind of thin for a stout this thick. the alcohol is well balanced.

This is a bizarre stout. I had it aged ~1 year, hat tip to M@.
It had a very thin mouthfeel for an überstout. Honestly, it felt like cold coffee. Low levels of carbonation as well. Aging it must have dramatically altered the beer, especially when comparing my experience to other reviewers.
Huge flavor profile, though. Coffee dominates, with bitter chocolate, molasses, and soft hints of caramel. Love the malty finish.

This is one of the tastier, creamier, and just all-around pours-like-molasses stouts around. It’s alcohol content is just a hair too high for the hiding they do and you can taste it, but not much. The chocolate, coffee and caramel tastes make it a pleasure to drink and it does stick to your mouth and throat as you sip.
