This was a solid production from Stone et al. I haven’t had a better brew from them since their 04 Vertical Epic.

Great winter seasonal. The spices are well balanced and you get a hint of the alcohol in there. This is what I look for in the winter.

It has a terrific mouthfeel that goes will with the flavor. So smooth.

Pours with a little head and has very little lacing.

Characteristics: smooth finish spices warm winter warmer

This beer has a crazy amount of flavor. Even loving Stone’s other beers, I wasn’t quite expecting such a strong attack. Comes on with a hoppy bitterness, then keeps morphing with notes of nuttiness, caraway, malt, and what almost seems like clove. The mouthfeel is HUGE from start to finish. Definitely one of the best holiday beers I’ve ever had.
