- Comment:
Aroma: Crisp, light malty smell. Noble hop aroma. Saaz?
Appearance: Light, clear. Med, white head.
Flavor: Crisp, dry, peppery on finish. Bitter with lingering bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Med carbonation, light body, little or no warmth sensation which is ok for style.
Overall: Nice pilsner, light and easy to drink. A bit leaning towards a German Pils in style with the dry finish.

I love this beer! It is the beer I always turn to when I am at a club or bar and they only have “mainstream” beers.

From the party mini keg, Heineken is really good. When I first started drinking beer I liked it a lot from the bottle, but my taste has changed and now only the mini keg suffices.

I have to admit, I don’t understand why so many people love this beer so much. I just don’t find it very drinkable.

Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t. I think if they made the green bottles brown to keep out the skunks I’d like it better. Not bad for what it is.

A drinkable beer, funny when people call this a good beer though, goes down like water as any cheap beer does, guess that would make it refreshing:)

Heineken is right up my alley. Light, crisp and with just a little bitterness. Even at room temp, the bitterness is endurable.

Heineken consistently delivers that unmistakable aroma and crystal clarity. The flavor is very mild with a hint of skunk that is characteristic of beer in green bottles. It is light, crisp and mild. I consider Heineken an airport beer, probably the best you can do in a situation with limited options.
