    Extremely dark with a foamy light brown head. Pretty tasty overall.

    Japanese craft beers (especially stouts) are often all pretty much the same and often disappointing, although recently they seem to be getting better. All of the Hitachino beers recently stand out from the rest though and are definitely worth drinking. The stout is no exception.
