This is a very strong but very tasty beer. It’s highly wanted because of the limited output.

I hope I’m wrong but I doubt I’ll have a better beer in my lifetime. I remember the sediment rolling in the glass and the beautiful shade of golden.

Pours with little head and no retention. notes of citrus fruit and cherry.
very malty with Belgian yeasty goodness.
Caramel lingering aftertaste.
The alcohol is masked very well. there is a slight warming feeling, but it’s hidden mostly.

I’d consider this a tiny bit overrated, simply due to the scarcity. That being said, I still rated it a 94.
Extraordinary mouthfeel….creamy, velvety, smooth. Extremely malty, with a strong yeast presence too. Tasted extraordinarily complex; in fact, so complex that it was a bit tough to pick out individual flavors. I got fleeting hints of: honey, dark fruit, anise, something medicinal, and caramel. The alcohol was well hidden, but to the extent that it was present it added character and flavor.
I don’t think I’d call it the best beer in the world, but it’s certainly a good one that you should try once in your life. Mega props to M@ for hooking me up.

This is an amazing beer, so full of flavor. It’s slightly sweet, but not overly so and there is no alcoholy flavor either. It is complex and to be savored, to be sure.
- Characteristics: complex earthy fruity

This was an excellent beer. I feel that I cannot give it an accurate rating as I had been in Belgium for four days before, drinking amazing beers. Had I tried this in a different situation I would probably have had a much more severe reaction.
That said, it lived up to the hype. Very complex, kind of fruity, definitely warming.
See Chuck H. above. “Something medicinal” is accurate.

The beer is dark. Unlike most high alcohol beer from Belgium or Germany, this was not thick or syrupy. The alcohol has an in your face taste. The over all taste is malty, slightly bitter, and a very clean after taste. One of the best high alcohol beer I have ever had.
- Characteristics: bitter dark delicious floral malty
